Our film follows the life of a young girl living in a dysfunctional house where her parents argue constantly and the only way she can get away from her troubles is to go into her wardrobe, shut her eyes and dream of a world where she can be free to be the child she is. When she is transported to the dream world, she imagines herself within a vast forest where there are no rules and responsibilities to tie her down. She is free to explore the wilderness and take pleasure in adventure, however, she cannot stay in the dream world forever.
As the problems she faces in the real world escalate, she finds it harder to keep her precious dream world separated from her real life and the troubles that plague her begin to seep through to her dream world. As she struggles to hold onto her dream land, she is visited by her future self who comforts her and advises the young girl to face her problems in real life, instead of running away from them into the dream world.
