Narrative – watch the film and then apply the theorists and terms that were covered in class – Narrative Structure (linear, non linear etc), Restricted and Unrestricted narration, Plot and Story (Bordwell and Thompson), Todorov and his 5 stages, Barthes and Enigma / Action codes, Levi Strauss and binary oppositions, Propp and Character types , Vogler and the Hero’s Journey.
